Common Questions
Listed below are some common questions that we are asked about our business. If you have any questions that you would like to add, please contact us. We are always happy to hear from you.
Question: How can I sanitize my wooden cabinetry?
Answer: It is best to use mild soaps to avoid damage to the paint/finish. For example, use a mild dish soap with warm water OR a 50/50 vinegar/water solution (use equal parts of white vinegar and warm water). Aerosol based cleaners and oil based cleaners could cause damage. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us or to our Facebook page.
Question: Where did the name Pig House Cabinets come from?
Answer: Our customers are actually responsible for this name. The business was originally located in the Keith community of North Georgia. The shop was in an old pig house on a farm. The actual name at that time was Frank’s Cabinets. As people in the community became more aware of the presence, the business began to grow. Community members quickly named the company by word of mouth. The community recommended that they “go talk to the guys in the old pig house” for cabinetry needs. The business has grown since those days, but our uncompromising commitment to quality has remained the same. In fact, the original Pig House Cabinets pig currently remains on the side of our building.
